The Carroll family, led by Charles Negus Carroll, were Mormon converts from Canada who settled in Utah.
Charles Negus Carroll was born in 1817 in New Brunswick, Canada. After converting to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he eventually journeyed to Utah, and married four times. Charles had four children by his first wife Lucy Elizabeth and fourteen by his second wife Kezia Giles. Charles and Kezia helped to settle Heber City, Utah. Willard Carroll, the son of Charles and Lucy Elizabeth, travelled to the Southern States and the Mormon settlements in Mexico. Later in his life, he was also ordained a member of the Seventy. Along with Willard Carroll, many of Charles Negus Carroll's other children eventually joined the United Order and moved to Orderville, Utah. The majority of the Carroll children stayed in the Church, many of them practicing polygamy and raising large families all over Utah.
