The Coalition for an Independent Candidacy (C.I.C.) was an Ithaca, NY group organized by three Ithacans who covered 28 - 29 New York counties (securing 100 - 150 signatures per county) to put Eugene McCarthy on the ballot in New York State as an independent candidate for United States president.
