Costume designer Constance Ripley worked on several Broadway productions and designed clothing for private customers during the 1930s, until 1937 when she married Thomas D. Williams, and turned their attention to a successful antiques business.
Her credits include The band wagon (1931), The cat and the fiddle (1931), Flying colors (1932), and Red, hot and blue (1936).
