Woodward, May B.
May (or Mae) B. Woodward was the daughter of John B. Woodward (1835-1896), a well-respected Brooklyn businessman involved in the import-export trade in South America. John B. Woodward also served in the Brooklyn-based 13th Regiment of the New York National Guard, was Adjutant General of New York State, and was a mayoral candidate in Brooklyn in 1885.
