Ann Craig, nee Mclagan, was born in Prestonholme near Edinburgh in 1782. She was married to John Craig (b. 1766), a flax manufacturer and millowner of Leith. They had 2 children, Graham (b. 1801?) and Sarah. Ann lived until at least 1851.
