Appling, McGuire and Collier (189 -1895).
The law firm, composed of W.R. Appling, Joseph H. McGuire, and Mr. Collier, operated in Jasper, Walker Co., Ala., and succeeded the firm of Appling and Lamar. On or about 1895 Aug. 1, the firm became Appling and McGuire, and on 1895 Dec. 10, the firm became Appling, McGuire and Appling. By 1896 Jan. 10 the firm's name reverted to Appling and McGuire.
