Bunting, Henry Idawari
Variant namesHenry Stanhope Bunting, 1865-1948, was an author and historian.
He wrote several books on the subject of advertising and merchandising, as well as several histories about the Presbyterian Church in Texas, and a biography about his father, Robert F. Bunting (1828-1891), a Presbyterian minister who served as the chaplain and regimental historian for Terry's Texas Rangers, the Eighth Texas Cavalry. After the war, Bunting established churches in several cities, most notably, the First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio.
