This series documents the collection, analysis, and compilation of streamflow data on each of the approximately 100 sites on the streams monitored by the Surface Water Investigations section of the State Water Control Board as part of the cooperative agreement with the U. S. Geological Survey. Across the state, the agency maintains approximately 100 stations and the U. S. Geological Survey measures the majority of the larger streams in the state. Most of the information collected is published in the annual report, WATER RESOURCES DATA FOR VIRGINIA.
