Vernay-Butler Expedition (1927-1928)
Arthur S. Vernay sponsored but did not join Albert E. Butler's trip to India, Burma, and Africa to obtain the material and data with which to construct the backgrounds for several animal groups collected by Vernay and John C. Faunthorpe. Butler was a member of the Museum's Dept. of Preparation.
