Fitch and Chapman families.
Abraham Fitch (1738-1821), a farmer, and his wife, Elizabeth "Betsey" Bissell (1738-1830) were the parents of Sarah Hyde (1759-1845), Benjamin Bissell (1761-1836) , Arethusa (1764-1854), Almira (1767-1842), Azel (b. 1771), and Ebenezer (b. 1775). Arethusa married Azel Hyde (1762-1842) and they were the parents of Frances Hinckley (b. 1803). "Fanny" married Freeman Clark Chapman (b. 1802)Their children were Van Buren (b. 1837), Henry Hyde (1839-1841), Anne Maria (b. 1830), and Sarah Jane (b. 1834).
