Davis, Rufus Judson.

Rufus Judson Davis (1861-1923) was born in Salem, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois and in 1885 moved to the state of Washington, where he worked in the banking business until 1900. From 1900 to 1919 Davis was vice president of the Pacific Cold Storage Company, and from 1919 until his death, he worked as superintendent of the New England Fish Company, Vancouver branch. Davis died suddenly of pneumonia in Ketchikan, Alaska, on 16 December 1923.
