New Geneva General Store (New Geneva, Pa.)
Little is known about the New Geneva Store. The village of New Geneva is located at the confluence of Georges Creek and the Monongahela River in Fayette County. Originally settled in 1765, the town was laid out by Albert Gallatin, later Secretary of the Treasury. Albert Gallatin's relationship with the store cannot be determined, although he was heavily involved in its activities.
