Forsyth and Wylie family members' served in the Civil War, Indian Wars, and the Spanish-American War; they lived at Fort Davis, Texas, Fort Bayard and Santa Rita, New Mexico, Nacozari, Sonora, Mexico, Douglas, and Phoenix, Ariz. John Wylie served in the Arizona State Senate from Cochise County, Ariz.
