Elliot, Byron K. (Byron Kosciusko), 1900-

Elliot was born in Indianapolis in 1900. He was president of the Shortridge High School class of 1917, served in World War I, and took his law degree at Indiana University. He practiced law in Indianapolis, and served as the Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Marion County, 1923-1925, Assistant Attorney General of Indiana, 1925, and as Judge, Superior Court of Marion County, 1926-1929. He later worked in life insurance and retired in 1969 from the John Hancock Insurance Company after serving as its president and chairman of the board.
