A weekly newspaper for graduates of Harvard, the Harvard Bulletin was first published by the Harvard Crimson, under the auspices of the Athletic Association of Harvard Graduates. The newspaper was never intended to be an exclusively athletic paper, but instead aimed to publish all University news of interest to graduates. The paper later became the official organ of the Harvard Alumni Association. In 1910, the name of the paper was changed to the Harvard Alumni Bulletin; in 1969, the name reverted back to the Harvard Bulletin, and in 1973, changed to the Harvard magazine.
The Harvard Bulletin, Inc. was incorporated in October 1907. This entity, responsible for publishing the bulletin at least into the 1960s, was a self-supporting non-profit organization.
