Woodson family.
Represented are Tarleton Woodson (1754-1818), Revolutionary War officer who was captured by the British and imprisoned on Long Island, N.Y., where he met his wife Anne (Van Der Veer) Woodson (1763-1794); and one of the couple's two sons, Prince Edward County merchant Tarleton Woodson (1793-1854).
