Cannon family
This collection is from several generations of the Cannon family of Marion, McDowell County, North Carolina. Family members represented include William F. Cannon, Peter F. Cannon, and Julius A. Cannon.
The 1870, 1880, 1900, and 1910 United States censuses all list a Cannon family in McDowell County, and it is possible that it is the one this material corresponds to.
