Robinson-Morgan families.
The Robinsons were a prominent Richmond, Virginia, family. Col. Charles S. Morgan was superintendent of the State Penitentiary until 1859; his grandson, Morgan P. Robinson was State Archivist. They were connected to the Morgan family of Monongalia County, West Virginia.
