Strong, Robert C., 1898-1972.
Captain Robert C. Strong was a 1922 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. He was CO of the Receiving Station at Cavite, PI when the Japanese bombed and overran the islands. He surrendered to the Japanese, took part in the Bataan Death March and was interned in various prison camps in the Philippines Islands.
