French, George N., 1898?-1969.
George N. French was a Louisiana reporter and speech writer for Huey P. Long. He was on the staff for THE LOUISIANA PROGRESS, a weekly newspaper initiated by Long and worked as a reporter for the NEW ORLEANS ITEM, and possibly the TIMES PICAYUNE. He later worked in public relations for American Trucking Associations before retiring to San Francisco.
