Russian ambassador to Turkey in 1914, who moved to Norway in 1916, and later to Geneva where he took active part in the Russian Christian Labor Movement (Russkoe trudovoe khristi︠a︡nskoe dvizhenie) and in organizations aiding Russian refugees.
