Walters, Emile, 1893-1977
Variant namesBorn at Winnipeg, Manitoba, son of Paul and Bjorg (Jonsdottir) Valtyr. Moved to Gardar, N.D. in 1898. Studied at the Art Institute, Chicago, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and the Tiffany Foundation. Wed Thorstina Jackson in 1928. She died in 1959 at Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
