Roy, Joseph Leo, Jr.
Joseph Leo Roy, Jr. lived in Portland, Oregon, and attended St. Francis & Holy Redeemer Parochial Schools and Central Catholic High School. He was the brother of Sister Mary Leonarda of the Holy Names. Roy served as an Artilleryman with the 81st "Wildcat" infantry division and died in action while in the Palau Islands in the Pacific.
