McNichols, William Henry, 1910-1997.
William Henry McNichols (1910-1997) served as mayor of Denver, Colo. from 1968-1983. He was responsible for the construction of several Denver, Colo. civil projects including the Denver Art Museum, Auraria Higher Education Center, Denver Center for the Performing Arts and the 16th Street Transit System.
