Goodwin, Earl George.

Earl George Goodwin was an officer in the United States Air Force (USAF). He served in the armed forces during World War II. Goodwin was stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base (AFB) from 1951-1954. He was a captain and then major with the 5039th Air Transport Group. While at Elmendorf, Goodwin was officer-in-charge of the 5039th's Instrument and Transition School (1951-1952), and then operations staff officer in the J-3 Division, Headquarters, Alaska Air Command (1953-). He later attained the rank of colonel. Earl G. Goodwin died in Harlingen, Texas, in 1973.
