Swift, Robert
Bob Swift was part of a team tasked with doing archaeological investigation along the Colorado River in August 1955. He was accompanied by Raymond deSaussure, Arthur L. Lange, Arthur L. Chaffin, "Black" George Simmons, Dave Gaskill, and Ranger James "Jimmy" Brooks. Bob's role was to climb and take photos of the trip. Facing rougher conditions than usual, the team aborted their trip at Phantom Ranch.
