Gurko, Miriam.
Independent researcher and author of biographies and histories, primarily for a juvenile audience.
During her research for a biography of Edna St. Vincent Millay, Gurko met and became friends with Floyd Dell. Dell, a poet, novelist, newspaperman, literary editor, and Socialist, developed a close relationship with Millay during their years in Greenwich Village.
