Second Church (Dorchester, Boston, Mass.)
Variant namesChurch organized in 1808, due to the increased population of the town; society formed in 1807; Rev. John Codman was first minister; later merged with Dorchester Central Congregational Church (formerly Bethany Congregational Church, organized in 1888), the name Second Church being retained; later affiliated with United Church of Christ; disbanded in 1987 and building sold.
