Sunderlin, Edith M., 1901-
Professor of Child Development at Iowa State University (1934-1967); host of regular children's program on WOI Radio (1940-1958). Born 1901 in Delmar, Iowa; Iowa State alumna (1924); received Masters degree from Child Welfare Research Station, University of Iowa (1931); joined faculty of Iowa State University (1934); promoted to Professor (1954). Became known as the "Storybook Lady" because of her program on WOI Radio first called "From the story book", and later changed to "The Children's corner."
