Researcher and research director, frozen fish industry.

Harden F. Taylor was born in West Plains, Missouri in 1890. In 1913, he received a bachelor's degree from Trinity College. From 1911 until 1914, he was a researcher with the Bureau of Fisheries in Beaufort, N.C. From 1915 until 1923, he was scientific assistant, then chief technologist, with the Bureau of Fisheries in Washington, D.C. In 1923, he became research director for the Atlantic Coast Fisheries. He later became president of Atlantic Coast Fisheries. From 1913-1915, Mr. Taylor taught high school science in Tarboro, N.C.
