Variant namesDr Fabinyi came to Australia from Hungary in 1939. He became chairman and managing director of the Cheshire group of publishing and bookselling companies. In 1969 he became managing director of the Pergamon Press group in Australia. He was president of the Australian Book Publishers' Association.
