Thompson, Betty Ann.
Betty Ann Thompson was the director of Recreational Sports at the University of Texas at Austin from 1972-1988. She was interim Director for the women's intercollegiate athletic program in 1974, the year of its' inception. The Division of Recreational Sports is supported by the Betty Ann Thompson Endowmment, which was given by her estate upon her death in 1989.
