University of Nevada, Reno. Athletic Program Study Committee.
In 1972, the Faculty Senate appointed a committee to study the role of the athletic program at the University and report its findings to the faculty. The study examined the role the program played in the functions of teaching, research and public service of the university, the cost of the program, and the effect of the program on students. John P. Marschall was chair of the committee.
