Graham, Alice Walworth
Alice Walworth Graham (1905-1994) was a novelist from Natchez, Miss., who lived in New Orleans, La., for about twenty years. She is known for novels which portray life on plantations in Natchez, as well as for her later English historical romances.

Alice Walworth Graham (1905-1994) was a novelist and native of Natchez, Miss. She also lived in New Orleans, La., for about twenty years. While attending Robert Penn Warren's writing class at Louisiana State University, Graham began her first published novel, LOST RIVER. This book, along with three others, reflects life on plantations in Natchez. Graham was also a writer of English historical romances, including her last book, THE SUMMER QUEEN (1972).
