Albert Borowitz is a collector, historian, and author in the field of true crime literature. Since the late 1970s, he has authored numerous books and articles on true crime, as well as some fictional detective stories. He is a retired partner of the international law firm of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue. Since 1989, he has donated much of his extensive true crime library and collections to Kent State University Libraries Special Collections and Archives.
