Murdaugh, C. W. (Murdaugh, Claudius Walke), 1828-1898.
C.W. Murdaugh was a lawyer, judge and politician and fought on the side of the Confederate Army during the Civil War. He was the son of James Murdaugh (1799-1871), also a Portsmouth lawyer.
