Pacific and Eastern Railway Company.
The company was incorporated in 1907 to take over the unfinished line of the Medford and Crater Lake Railway. It completed that line and extended it, creating a line from Medford to Butte Falls. All of the company's stock was owned by a GN subsidiary, the Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway, which controlled the line until it was discontinued in 1919.
