Biographical Note: R. Robinson Baker (Ralph Robinson) is a surgeon and professor, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

He was born in Baltimore, MD Dec. 30, 1928. Dr. Baker was educated at The Johns Hopkins University where he received the AB degree in 1950 and the M.D. from the School of Medicine in 1954. Since 1962, Dr. Baker has been on the active staff of the Hopkins's medical institutions as a surgeon and as professor of surgery and oncology. Dr. Baker was editor of "Current Trends in the Management of Breast Cancer" published in 1977. Dr. Baker resides in Baltimore.
