Rickard, Dorothy, 1924-
Variant namesDorothy Lee Keister Rickard (b. 24 Dec. 1924) is a native Virginian born to John David (24 May 1897- 29 Feb. 1964) and Lillian Ruth Neff Keister (30 Nov. 1902- 25 Dec. 1999). She was born in Bluemont, Va., on the farm of her grandparents, John Michael (fl.1876 -1930) and Daisy Mae Hawes Neff (fl. 1880-1930) and raised in Loudoun County during the Great Depression. Growing up, she was involved in Girl Scouts and 4-H. After high school graduation, she married Jasper Rickard (ca. 1926- 26 Apr. 1981) and raised their family in Loudoun County.
