Bellarts, Leo G., 1907-1974
Leo G. Bellarts (b. June 23, 1907-d. May 1974), was Chief Radioman on board the Coast Gurad Cutter Itasca. He was one of the last persons to hear Amelia Earhart's final radio transmission before her disappearance.
