Edward Augustus, Duke of Kent, was the fourth son of Great Britain's King George III and Queen Charlotte and father of Queen Victoria (1819-1901). He married Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld on 29 May 1818.
The firm Tatham & Baily was founded in the 1780s and had premises at 14 Mount Street. The original parnership was between George Elward and William Marsh with Edward Baily joining the firm in 1793 and Thomas Tatham in 1798.
