Texas Land and Development Company.
Founded in 1912 by Dr. Frederick Stark Pearson and Milton Day Henderson. The land development operation was centered in Plainview, Hale County, Texas. The company included subsidiaries and holding companies (Texas Prairie Land Ltd. and Staked Plains Trust). The Texas Land and Development Company ceased operations in 1954.
