Ernest W. Lloyd, 1880-1985, was a well known author of children's books and editor of the Sabbath school paper, Our Little Friend, for the Seventh-day Adventist denomination. He was also involved in the founding of the Glendale Sanitarium and the Loma Linda Sanitarium in the early years of the 20th century. He worked for 35 years at the Pacific Press Publishing Association. He had an interest in denomination history which is reflected in his papers.
