Harrison, Walter W., 1899-1985.
In his busy career, Walter W. Harrison was mayor of Millen for 20 years, state senator, publisher of the Millen News, and a pioneer of rural electrification, known as "Mr. R.E.A." He was also a prominent Rotarian and Methodist layman.
