Utah Irrigation Water Ditch (Company)
Variant namesThe Utahville Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located in Maricopa, Arizona, was organized soon after the church was established in the Utah/Arizona area. The United Order was instituted to help implement the principles of the law of consecration (to be united in all things- doctrinally, spiritually, socially, and economically). Within three years, however, the Lord chastened the Church for transgression and withdrew the practice of the United Order from the Saints.
