Horton, Gordon Clift, 1918-1963.

Gordon Clift Horton was born in 1918. He graduated from Davidson College in 1942 and attended Parson's School of Interior Design. He became widely known in the field of Interior Design before his death in 1963. In 1975 his mother, Mrs. Florence Horton, died, willing her estate to Davidson College. The college owns many paintings and pieces of furniture and artwork from the Horton Collection.
