Percy Lyle Corbin married Marian Louise Haylett, whom he met while both were students at Ohio Weslelyn University.

Percy Corbin worked as a university and state secretary for the Young Men's Christian Association between 1910 and 1916, in various states. With the outbreak of war, he worked for the Y.M.C.A. on the Italian front. While Corbin was overseas his wife and his daughter Alice Louise Corbin moved to Boulder. When the war ended in 1918, he left the Y.M.C.A. work and became the local agent for the New York Life Insurance Company in Boulder.

Percy Lyle Corbin was the resident agent for the New York Life Insurance Company in Boulder, Colorado, 1918-1923, with offices at 1933 13th Street. In 1910 Corbin married Marian Louise Haylett, whom he met while both were students at Ohio Wesleyan University; shortly afterward they moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
