Reid, Alfred
Alfred Reid was appointed as manager of the British Antarctic Expedition, 1907-1909 (leader Ernest Henry Shackleton). He Visited Norway with Shackleton in order to procure sledges and other equipment for the expedition. Reid sailed to Australia ahead of the expedition ship Nimrod .
