Brown, R. Llewellyn, 1957-
Variant namesR. Llewellyn Brown (b. 1895 at Tiverton, Devon) trained at Sandhurst. He went to Germany in July 1914 to study the language in order to help qualify for a commission with The Royal Engineers, and was interned at Ruhleben, 1914-1918, living in Barrack No. 11. He later became a Major General.
