Schoolwomen's Club (Oakland, Calif.)
Organization created as social and service organization for female classroom teachers (1912). Club activities included day nursery, building bond campaign and representation to California Teacher's Association and National Education Association. Club discontinued when larger Oakland Teacher's Association, with male and female members, took over its functions (1925).
